Credo was a response to the following:
1. a person's salary level should not determine the functionality of his chair 2. we have not been created for a static life 3. we come in different sizes
Credo's motto "a chair for every position" was directed not only at body positions but also at the "positions" within a company. Earlier it was primarily those in a certain "positions" who were privileged to have a chair that tilted, and that tilted only backwards. Credo features "free movement " from an active seated posture with a forward-tilted chair body, to a backward-leaning reclining posture. The body balances and the feet regulate and control the tilting movement. Most of the chairs I have developed for HÅG are built on the same principles
