The West Norway Museum of Applied Art in Bergen Exhibition space: 300 sqare meters Period: Summer 1996
On the occasion of the 1996 Bergen Music Festival, the museum invited Peter Opsvik to display recent furniture objects and other works in wood. Peter Opsvik presented a new and more unfamiliar side of an internationally orientated designer's creations. The exhibition's wooden objects had a selfconfident artistic expression we can readily refer to as "furniture sculptures".
